be interested in maintaining/translating to german. He did
already the major german translation for the CC-help. (I

here, but I think if he can do it really as a spare time
project this could work out well. Especially as he's a guy
that always takes care about "how do I explain <places
somthing at least as difficult as the Stoiko here> to
someone who barely knows how to distinguish bishop and
knight." I'll not promise anthing here though.
A general thing: currently scids help is all in Latin-1. As
usual this is not an issue for the english version, but for
all languages with those funny characters. Though I
personally feel it will take at least another 10 years for
UTF to succeed, we should probably consider moving to UTF at
some stage.
