Throwing away info hurts, usually there is a point when you'll need it.

The use of institutions or physical (as in books, magazines, etc.) tag  
names looks better, file names can change a lot with use and don't  
always represent the original source of the content.

How good is the scid db format to work with multiple changes by  
multiple people? would it be better to use pgn in the middle editing?  
after we finish with the file, we could export it to scid format and/ 
or merge it to the main db. Is there any tracking system easy to use?
