Hi, I'm new to the Scid-users-list, but using Scid for long times. The Integration of Web Services would be a great feature. Now I have to import lot of data (for example from twic) altough I'm not sure ever using it. The integration of Web Services would allow me to load specific data on demmand. For example searching for positions or games of players would be very easy. Setting up a data-repository wouldn't be so much work: imagine some kind of social-site, where users can check-in pgn-games. Parsing the games and storing them into a database is also no problem - and if the database doesn't store comments there should be no problems with copyright. I could help setting up a site, I have long time experiences with perl and mysql - from the technical point of view it should be much work. Marcel
