Hello Pascal et al.... When I use Send Move or Mail Move in Scid under Windows XP to compose an outgoing e-mail chess move with Thunderbird 2.0.0.19, no compose window opens. Instead, I get a command prompt window with the beginning of the Scid-generated Thunderbird command line showing in the title bar and a prompt of "C:\Program Files\Scid\bin\data>". My Outbox path is configured for the default "C:/Program Files/Scid/bin/data/Outbox", my Mail program is "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird\thunderbird.exe", and the selected Mode radio button is "Mozilla". Is this a problem with the Scid-generated command line, or just a silly newbie config error?
NB: I am successfully using a shortcut with the following command line to manually compose and send the outgoing message: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird\thunderbird.exe" -compose to='[email protected]',subject='scid mail 1 game <Larry-13>',bcc=,body='Manually initiated....',attachment='file:///C:/Program Files/Scid/bin/data/Outbox/Larry-13.pgn' -- Regards, Larry Watkins Newark, Delaware USA • E-mail: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by: SourcForge Community SourceForge wants to tell your story. http://p.sf.net/sfu/sf-spreadtheword _______________________________________________ Scid-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/scid-users
