Yes. And you will want to notice that Scid is the only chess application 
I know of that has a really decent keyboard move entry functionality. 
That is you can not only jump trough the game using the mouse but also 
just play down a game from a book by entering it with the keyboard 
instead of the mouse.

No, as I said it's a work around. You just see which piece is moving by 
that.

Yes, but I admit that I'm totally unfamiliar with the board marking 
functions, and I fear I can not do it myself. Otherwise we'd already 
have it as I miss it a bit, especially in CC gameplay it would be nice, 
indeed.
