So far classical mode was the only way I tried. However I noticed a difference now: If I open the search window the first time it is to small. When I then change settings in "Options", "Windows" where I disable "Auto-Raise" then the search window is displayed as usual and do not re-size to the small one when I enable "Auto-Raise" again.
