Homer is sort of a twitter between UCI and Xboard using a config file and uci setup. It should work if you put all files of the homer-distribution into a directory of your choice, say C:\homer, then tell Scid to execute C:\homer\homer.exe and put C:\homer in the Path-statement (usually you'll find a dot there). Beyond that you should hook up UCI.
