I'm curious about the use (or not) of the game list window. I use it
all the time. I'm trying to figure out how one could use Scid much
without using the game list window much. I'm not trying to be
argumentative, but wondering if I am missing something significant
about how to use Scid. Which is entirely possible! Thus:

FWIW, I think this is a significant "problem" for Scid adoption right
now-- many things don't exactly work in an intuitive fashion if one's
reference is limited to other non-chess software or even Chessbase,
and I think many people get stuck or give up or just assume Scid lacks
the capability (it's amazing how many people doubt how fast Scid
operates with large game sets, etc) before reaching a point that they
"get" it.

I guess what I'm saying is that tutorials, particularly tutorials
laden with screenshots or in the form of video would really help in
this regard. And I know I can (and should) do them myself, but like
everyone time is an issue for me.
