Hello Sanjib, The .bin that you're mentioning are the binary books you wish to use, right?
In that case, the message error usually means that you need to 1. go to Options/Books directory; 2. select the directory where you have your engines books. 3. save your Options. If that does not suffice, restart Scid. If that still does not work, the problem may be tougher to solve. PS: I still have an Annotate button, here on my OSX installation.
