Fulvio,

There is no doubt that you are very angry and, it seems, paranoid. This sort of discussion should be via private email, not to be dragged about in a public list.

Last year Steven wanted to erase Scid code: I was shocked and I

I did not understand why he did not want to agree to do a proper merge,

complete management of the project.

Now, i saw this commit (in how many places I have been vilified without
knowing it?):
http://sourceforge.net/p/scidvspc/code/1920/
and dawned on me a disturbing thought.

Right now it is very easy to see Scidvspc copyright infringements.
For example in Scid there is a file tcl/utils/win.tcl and i can easily
see (git blame) that most of the lines have been written by "pgeorges"
in 2008 (+98 lines of my code).
In Scidvspc there is an incredibly similar file, also called
tcl/utils/win.tcl, using the same variables names, and that was entirely
written by "stevenaaus" (which then holds all the copyright rights).
It's even mentioned on Scidvspc website without any credit to the
original author: "Finally have a docked windows feature. It's a damn
complicated thing, but i am fond of it".

* IF THE ORIGINAL CODE FROM SCID NO LONGER EXISTED, IT WOULD BE VERY
DIFFICULT TO PROVE NOW WHO IS THE REAL AUTHOR OF THE CODE *

I really hope that I'm just imagining things, but to be on the safe
side, I then FORMALLY INVITE THE SCIDVSPC PROJECT TO:
- RESPECT ALL THE COPYRIGHT RIGHTS OF ALL THE AUTHORS WHO CONTRIBUTED TO
THE SCID PROJECT
- RESOLVE EVERY COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT AND GPL VIOLATION.
