Hi

For example in the "Example" database, I'd like to find all games with
the position after 1.e4 c5 where "Aronian, Levon" is playing White. With
old Scid versions, I could do it with

1. Go to Header search, type "Aronian, Levon" in the box White, check
that the "Operation on current setting" is IGNORE. Search.

2. Go to a game where 1.e4 c5 is played (or add a new game and enter
moves 1.e4 c5). Go to Board search, select Exact position and "AND
(Restrict filter)" from the "Operation on current setting" selection.

Alternatively, you can first search the position and then the player.
With the old Scid, the filter now contains only games where both filters
match. With the new Scid, the filter contains only the results of the
latest search, ignoring the first search completely, even if I selected
"AND (Restrict filter)". Using the filter buttons in the Game List
window for the second search does not seem to help. I'm using recently
installed 4.6.0 in Windows 7.

How do I find games of certain player where certain position occurs?

Best regards,
Janne
