Hi, I recently switched my hardware to a Mac. I'm now wondering how to compile SCID. I followed the instructions to install the Apple command line tools (for my OS version Yosemite 10.10.1) and the latest TCL/TK package (v8.6.3).
Configure reports: configure: Makefile configuration program for Scid Tcl/Tk version: 8.6 Your operating system is: Darwin 14.0.0 Location of Tcl/Tk Aqua frameworks: /Library/Frameworks Checking if your system already has zlib installed: no. Using Makefile.conf. Multi-threading enabled (if you have problems try ./configure THREADS=""). The Makefile configured for your system was written. Now just type "make" to compile Scid. I've attached the compiler output with several warnings. When trying to open SCID two blank windows opens for a short time and then SCID crashes. I've also included the crash report. As I'm no programmer I'm totally lost here. Can someone help me please? Best regards, Ulrich
