Like this software but have not been able to use it for almost a year.
I get connection errors with the interface to ICCF every time I use the
software
trying on different platorms (W7/W8).
Current version(s) of SCID cannot fetch games from ICCF (that's the
problem).
I get a 'text error on line 1' message when I open the database and try to
retrieve games.
I've uninstalled/reinstalled several versions (same problem) using this URL

Also tried going from 'https...' to 'http...' with no success.
I don't know how to debug this software and am hoping someone on this list
can
assist me. SCID vs PC (interface to ICCF) has been a valuable tool in my
online
chess play.
