Dear fellow Scid-users, I used Scid on my Windows laptop but recently switched to a Macbook. After some searching I found out how to install Scid. However, I failed to add Stockfish as an engine. Scid worked fine for some time, but now upon starting gives an error message on Stockfish and closes down, even after re-installing Scid.
As I am not a computer expert, can someone please help me with the following: 1. Where can I change the settings so that I can use Scid again without the Stockfish error? 2. What is the preferred way to install Scid and add Stockfish as an engine? If possible, please be rather specific... Thanks in advance, I love(d) Scid a lot!
