To view the moves from the active game, open the PGN Window via the Windows Menu. Once open, the window should appear next to your chessboard. You can right-click on the tab (look for "notation") to move it to the top, bottom, left or right of the other open windows. To keep it open every time you open SCID, select Options > Save Options.
