I've prepared some packages for the fourth public version. This version is based on r948. These packages are for 32 bit systems, Carlos will make the packages for 64 bit systems.
Debian/Ubuntu/Mint: <https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/83584512/scidb-beta_1.0-r948_i386.deb> Slackware: <https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/83584512/scidb-beta-1.0-r948-i386-slackware.tgz> RPM: <https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/83584512/scidb-beta-1.0-r948.i386.rpm> All these packages are still untested (except under my own system Ubuntu 12.04.3 LTS). Who likes to test (this means: install) the packages? The destination direcory for the installation is the same as in the normal installation from source code (/usr/local).
