Hi Mario, As a fast workaround you can install libzzip-dev package: "sudo apt-get install libzzip-dev"
If Ubuntu sugests removing the packages libzzip and zziplib-bin, accept. Now you will not use the bundled zzip, but the package provided by Ubuntu. ./configure Now the output is: .... Checking if your system already has zziplib installed: yes. .... make sudo make install Cheers, Carlos 2013/10/3 Mario Lacunza <mlacu...@gmail.com> > Hello, > > Im a new user of these software, but I was using (and compiling from > sources) SCID and SCIDvsPC. > > Now Im trying to compile the latest version of scidb and I obtain this > error: > > Building libhyphenate.a > Compiling zzip-dir.c [-Wall -DNDEBUG > -Wno-strict-aliasing -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -D_USE_MMAP > -DZZIP_HAVE_STDINT_H] > In file included from ../zzip/plugin.h:36:0, > from ../zzip/zzip.h:22, > from zzip-dir.c:13: > ../zzip/lib.h:83:1: error: nombre de tipo ‘ssize_t’ desconocido > make[2]: *** [zzip-dir.o] Error 1 > make[1]: *** [recursive] Error 1 > make: *** [all] Error 2 > > Can you tell me how to fix it? > > My system: Ubuntu 13.04 64bits Uptodate > > -- > > Saludos / Best regards > > Mario Lacunza > Email:: mlacu...@gmail.com > Personal Website:: http://www.lacunza.biz/ > Hosting:: http://mlv-host.com/ > Mascotas Perdidas:: http://mascotas-perdidas.com/ > Google Talk / Y! messenger / Skype: mlacunzav > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > October Webinars: Code for Performance > Free Intel webinars can help you accelerate application performance. > Explore tips for MPI, OpenMP, advanced profiling, and more.
