Hi Mario,

As a fast workaround you can install libzzip-dev package: "sudo
apt-get install libzzip-dev"

If Ubuntu sugests removing the packages libzzip and zziplib-bin,
accept. Now you will not use the bundled zzip, but the package
provided by Ubuntu.

./configure

Now the output is:

....
Checking if your system already has zziplib installed: yes.
....

make

sudo make install

Cheers,

Carlos

    Hello,

Im a new user of these software, but I was using (and compiling from
    sources) SCID and SCIDvsPC.

Now Im trying to compile the latest version of scidb and I obtain this
    error:

    Building libhyphenate.a
    Compiling zzip-dir.c [-Wall -DNDEBUG
    -Wno-strict-aliasing -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -D_USE_MMAP
    -DZZIP_HAVE_STDINT_H]

                      from ../zzip/zzip.h:22,
                      from zzip-dir.c:13:

    make[2]: *** [zzip-dir.o] Error 1
    make[1]: *** [recursive] Error 1
    make: *** [all] Error 2

Can you tell me how to fix it?

My system: Ubuntu 13.04 64bits Uptodate
