I'm working up a bunch of examples for the CQL search help page and thought I'd solicit ideas from interested parties.

The CQL reference manual already includes many example queries oriented toward compositional themes. In addition to a number of simple CQL constructs, I'm looking at compiling a decent sample of queries for tactical maneuvers and classic positional themes which one might find in an OTB game.

For example, I've assembled queries for a smothered mate, skewered king, answering check with mate, pins, fianchettoed bishops, discovered check answered by discovered check, overloaded pieces, knight outposts, deflections, decoys and more. I welcome ideas for both static positional queries as well as dynamic relational queries outside of the chess composition domain.
