Creating a Classroom Environment that Encourages
Representations
Included will be classroom activities that encourage students to use
representa-tions to modeL, explore, and better understand math concepts and
how teachers can learn about students' thinking from those representations.
The activities address Illinois Mathematics Standards and Chicago Framework
Standards.

The last meeting of the school year will be held May 7, 2001.
note: Como Inn valet parking is available for $7
