I have a new PC without optical drive so I wanted
to install from a USB stick. I found neither of the

However, a read of parts of the script
livecd-iso-to-disk
led to a working method. The problem is that the
script cannot find
/EFI/BOOT/+(BOOT|boot)?*.conf
for the good reason that the file required is
actually called grub.cfg. Editing that and
isolinux/isolinux.cfg by hand (replacing the
LABEL=... bits by UUID=... for the UUID of the
USB stick) worked fine.

I suggest that the instructions and/or the script be
updated to reflect the change of name of the
required configuration files

I am guessing you are talking about the release notes? The 'dd' method outlined there has always worked just fine for me. It may be helpful to know what errors you were getting and also what commands/method did actually work for you.
