If you go there, it might be a good idea to post your xorg.conf
file and be prepared to also post /var/log/Xorg.0.log there as well.
In any case, be sure to backup your /etc/X11/xorg.conf file before messing
with it:
#cp /etc/X11/xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf.orig

It was there during the install and during the boot process.
