   Yes, that is what I mean. It is very useful in multi-boot
   environments, especially with Microsoft system loaders on MBR.

   Could you please let me know if it is possible with
   regular (non-Live) installation SL 5.1 cds -in advance of
   downloading them?

Hi,
Sorry for the delay.
I know that you can put grub on a Patition Boot Sector during the normal (non-live) installer. It has been possible for all of the Scientific Linux's.
I still haven't had a chance to look at the live installer though.
