Hi everybody.
Just ran SL 5.4 livecd on my wife laptop (a domestic brand named
BANGHO here in Argentina) and did not detect its wifi card. Did not
even appear using lspci command.
I went to Windows and found this card.
Is there a linux driver that I can use? or directly go for ndiswrapper?
Googling found this: http://rtl-wifi.sourceforge.net/wiki/Installing
Maybe in Dag repo could see any rlt8187b package.
Report soon.
Feddds.
There is no native support for Realtek 8187B in RHEL/SL because the
Linux 8187B driver requires the newer mac80211 stack (so you also won't
find support in 3rd party repositories either).
I would guess your best course of action would be to try with the
Windows driver and ndiswrapper.
