The mac80211 wireless stack they're talking about was released nearly 3 years ago and has been in probably the last 4 or 5 iterations of the major desktop distros. http://kernelnewbies.org/Linux_2_6_22 I remember it since in the first version of Mandriva that had it my wireless finally started working properly, but this is ancient history. Use the right tool for the job - RHEL/SL for servers where the stability and support is needed and one of Ubunutu, OpenSuse, Mandriva or Fedora for your desktop where you want the wireless to work, the latest Wine, the latest graphics card drives, etc. Tim
