from source and can't installHello,
Any luck installing deluge? I had it working perfectly fine in Centod
5, yet I tried all available rpms and constantly run into dependency
problems that are just pilling up... funny put - i recompiled 1.3.2.1,
but can't install it %).
thank you
Andrew
Hi Andrew,
I'm not sure about the problems you're having but; you should be able to
install the version for f13 (if you don't have any other option) as it
was
compiled still using python 2.6, if not, I haven't found anything from
f12
that I installed not to work. I realize mixing up packages from EL and
fedora isn't the best idea, but sometimes it's the only way. Also
transmission and Vuze both work well and do the same task (I use them
both).
I put a link here to all the Fedora versions of Deluge:

Alex:
I looked @ the qbittorrent - indeed nice app. My (silly) concern is -
i have to manually download ipfilters files into a local directory vs
it was taken care by the application itself. Maybe there is an addon
or some kind of option that i simply overlooked.. Let me know.
Nux:
thank you for the link. Last night i made it to work. It took about
1,5 hours to recompile, but now it's working just fine. I got version
1.3.2 to work. Didn't try any other version of it. The CPU usage is ~
5% on AMD Sempron 1800 ( 6 yo machine).
If you guys are interested i can share the rpms or upload to a repo.
Thank you.
Andrew
Deluge for 64 bits and glabels has been packaged and linked on the SLF.
Fwiw
cool. i have it for 386 only.
Hi
I don't know about any auto update ipfilters for qbittorrent, I didn't
think that ipfilters files changed alll that often though (could be
wrong on that I only check about 2x a year). Also I didn't say anything
about qbittorrent software, but I will try it out since you liked it
Andrew. :)
The version of deluge that was mentioned as linked from the SL forum has
been packaged for 64bit only at this point, and probably will remain
like that due to the packagers' available equipment. The (testing
version only so far) files are here:
http://pkgrepo.linuxtech.net/el6/testing/x86_64/
Please read the readme (disclaimer) in the repo as these files come from
a users' personal repo that he has allows access to the public.
Credit to tux99 for the Deluge, etc... packages there, and thanks for
the extra repo. (email available by running : rpm -qi packagename on
a downloaded package (for bug -reports) in a terminal to see the
packager's email address.)
