Ill-timed vent:The location of which is (comically) not only against the intent of the FHS (which we "don't care about anymore" -- paraphrasing LP hisself) but also the original spirit behind the Fedora "consolidate the filesystem" initiative, and the "clarify/simplify init things in the move to systemd". Har har. The joke will be on us whether or not this gets changed later.
