Hi All, I just discovered the discontinued "thorn" letter. The sound is of a "th", like "thorn". The letter looked to much like a "y" so they replaced it with "th". (Wish they had not.)
So, "Ye Old" is actually pronounced "the old". Kind of removed the fun. Anyway, there is an excellent article on over at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thorn_%28letter%29 Part way down the page, it gives directions on how to get it from, your keyboard. GNU Screen Ctrl+A Ctrl+V T H Ctrl+A Ctrl+V t h This assumes that your screen configuration uses the default Ctrl+A as its command key. Which does not work. The Windows method doesn't work either. What am I doing wrong. Many thanks, -T
