             Hi All,

             What am I doing wrong.

Not sure what this has to do with Scientific Linux as it isn't
        about the
        distro building or science.

It is the specific distro I am using

EL6 and EL7 if you run the command screen and type CONTROL-A,
        CONTROL-V
it will prompt at the bottome

        Enter digraph:

typing t h will then give:

        รพ

^^^ how did you do that?

on the screen. If it doesn't show up then it is going to be
        related to
what type of console you are running screen on, what fonts you have
installed (if you are using non-UTF8 fonts it isn't going to
        know what
        to display, etc).

What do you mean by command screen? I tried the above in both
a command prompt and in leaf pad. No joy.

screen is a command in Linux which runs multiple terminals in one screen.

the digraph prompt is only available inside of that program and not in
leafpad or a regular command prompt.
