That's a bit of a different assertion. ;) He has made successful films but they 
aren't my cup of tea either. 

His work after Showgirls isn't anywhere as good as stuff you mentioned or his 
more Dutch films like Spetters and Soldier of Orange. I totally agree with you 
that point.
