In line with our other disagreement regarding female beauty I was disappointed 
by Davalos' casting as Andromeda because I don't think she is fetching enough 
for the role.  IMHO the actress playing Io (Gemma Arteton - the erstwhile 
"Strawberry Fields" in "Quantum of Silence") is way prettier (and, the way the 
auteurs have bastardized the original story, you actually root for Perseus and 
Io to get together).  

Davalos' casting is another example of the current filmmakers being "tone 
death" to the story.  Andromeda has to be beautiful enough to offend the Gods.  
In the original "Titans," Judi Bowker was arrestingly comely in the Andromeda 
role.
