A bit of progress. I managed to stabilize one of the failing tests out of

If I count well, the important matters remaining are the docstring issues
and what I am struggling with.

Can you reproduce the docstring issues? I cannot. I think that they can
be solved simply by adding a 'print' in the beginning of the line. If you
can reproduce them and confirm my hunch, please push a fix to master and
cherry-pick it in the 0.12.X branch.

I am going to push my partial fix soon, and call it a day. Then I'll go
to eat, and cut the release when coming back.

Will there still be people around at 11pm/12pm Paris time to help me with
Windows binaries?
