Hi Anne and all,
I haven't really been paying close attention to the mailing list, so I just
noticed all this discussion about Michigan just now.
I for one am in Michigan at MSU, so clear not everyone is from Europe. I too
have heard that there is a "pretty famous scientific python developer" working
here. I've never actually hunted him out, and we have never crossed paths. I am
in the experimental nuclear physics department, so I'm not actually sure where
the computer science people live on campus.
So as to not ramble for too long, I will just say: I for one would be
interested in some sort of scientific python meet up around here if they are
not already occurring unbeknownst to me.
