So, I found the problem, and it is a numpy one that can be fully reproduced outside of the scikit-learn codebase (it is in np.load, that was used in a joblib cache in the test). I'll work around this guy and tag the release. If in the next hour PR 2349 get a green light from another core dev, I will include it in the release. If not, too bad.
