Olivier,
I like the plan of proceeding like we did at the last PyCon.  It seemed to
work well: there were twelve survey respondents regarding my tutorial, and
the feedback was also overwhelmingly positive.

I'll plan to put together a new intro proposal, which I'll base on the last
PyCon tutorial as well as the first-half of our SciPy tutorial.  The
abstract deadline is Sept 15; I'll send you a draft early next week so that
you can give feedback and so that we won't have overlapping material.
