Hello All,
I do understand that I am late, but would still like to know if it would be
possible to work on the project on Generalized Additive Models, towards a
GSoC project?
I am a graduate student, with research interests in machine learning,
statistical estimation and mathematical optimization. And wish to apply for
GSoC to get an experience at working on large open source libraries.
While, I understand that it could potentially be slightly late for asking
this, but since there is still time before proposal submission, would it be
possible for someone to please guide me on what all is the expectation of
this project, in addition to the reference research literature provided on
the Ideas page? Also, what might constitute prerequisite work for this
project?
Could someone please let me know if it is still possible to work towards
this project?
