FYI
I have hit another milestone. I now have a double
clickable OSX (pre-alpha) version of SciTE which
does not require an X Server. It is built with
XCode 1.5 on OSX 10.3.9.
The bad news is that there are serious runtime
issues. Specifically the app aborts during
initialisation. The root cause seems to be
GTK+OSX (which I aim to factor out eventually). At
this stage I don't know how long before I have an
alpha release. Hopefully within a week or so.
BTW I received invaluable help from Darrell
Walisser's ConvertMake application. Without it I
would have taken quite some time to get the
project into XCode. For more details see:
