Category: SciTE Group: Bug Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Bookmarking confusing with caret.line.back Initial Comment: When using the caret.line.back property to set a background color, bookmarking becomes confusing, because the color set with caret.line.back covers the color used for showing a bookmark. Steps: - Set the caret.line.back property to a test color - Move the caret to a line - Bookmark it (e.g. with ctrl+f2) What happens: The bookmark doesn't seem to have been set, since the line background color didn't change. If you move the caret to another line, you see the bookmark has been set, it just wasn't visible. This bug is always reproducible on my system, Windows 98SE. I would suggest that the bookmark background color should appear and not the caret line background color. Even better would be to have two colors for bookmarks when using caret.line.back : one for bookmarks when the caret is on the line, and one when it isn't.
