Scintilla 1.66 is now available from the scintilla.org web site.
Scintilla 1.66 is a minor enhancement and bug fix release. On GTK+
with Pango 1.8, text was being drawn incorrectly and that is fixed in
this release.
The C++ lexer continues styling over line end characters for
preprocessor lines and line comments allowing use of the eolfilled style
on these styles. Keywords are highlighted within line doc comments. This
lexer is reasonably simple and is receives more attention than most so
is a reasonable base when writing a lexer.
A new Ruby lexer handles some here-documents, %-quoted-strings,
symbols, @-, @@-, and $-prefixed variables, pod-like sections, etc. It
has more than 32 styles so applications that use it should call
SCI_SETSTYLEBITS(6). The here-document support is known to have trouble
with some constructs where it is difficult to disambiguate "<<".
Congratulations, Neil!
Of course, SciLexer.dll went from 305KB -> 310KB for me (just from the
changes checked in since yesterday)... :)
