Ack. thanks. Won't it come back to Scintilla ? SciTE may blame
Scintilla.

No, the export code and the monospace behaviour is only in SciTE.

The behaviour is as intended. Monospace font mode is a temporary
lightweight visual mode that is not supposed to affect other features.

I really want to edit in Monospace, and I want to copy & paste into Word also in monospace.

As Robert pointed out, this option isn't the right one to regularly edit in monospace. This option is, I fear, the most misunderstood one. Probably because proportional fonts are the default, some users want to keep the familiar monospace look (or need its alignment feature) and choose the most visible option to get this result quickly...

I want a WYSIWYG RTF representation. What you are telling me is that it is not supported, so I'd need to do a screen capture. That's just too bad.

Well, in worst case, after pasting in Word, you can select your code and change the font...

BTW, the more I think to it, the more I believe we should remove the useMonoFont test from the HTML exporter. This way, all exporters would be consistant, the transient nature of this setting would be enforced and users won't complain to have a feature/behaviour in one exporter and not in the others.

What do you think Neil? Can you make the change? It is so trivial it doesn't need to submit a patch.
