Hi Neil,
so: I coded the SC_START_ACTION notification (on implicit start and
BeginUndoAction, on outest level). it allows me to correctly interleave my
actions with those of scintilla and it works perfectly :)
the changes touch very lightly something like ten functions
if you think that it is of interest to everybody, i'll send you the patches
(and i'll be happy to do so because it will avoid me a merge each time i get
new sources of scintilla :)
