Summary: some Gtk bugs.

Initial Comment:
I am using the WX port of scintilla and I have the
folowing problems, that I think is scintilla's
specific, because I noticed them and in non wx Apps:

1)In non MSW builds (wxGTK) when I switch between
keyboard locals (e.g. Greek) and i write characters
in greek I can see the characters but the cursor
(caret) remains in the position where the last
latin character is. Also when I try to select any
greek characters the edit area some how becomes mest
up. When one line contains only greek characters the
caret can only be placed in the beginning of the line.
If start to write latin characters in the same line
the new latin characters are written on top of the
greek ones.
Is there any workaround for this?
Is this known problem?
I changed to the newest vertion of
scintilla 1.67 and the problem remains.
Lets say that one line is as below:

Hello world καλημέρα.
The cursor when i am writing the greek letters remains
in the position where the letter 'd' is.

2)In non MSW builds (wxGTK) when text Is selected and
you single click (or double click) with the mouse on
top of the selection without having the intention to
drag the text, the Selection remains while in the MSW
build the selection disapears. This causes big problem
when you do it a couple of times and finally the
control absolutely freezes. The mouse pointer becomes
an arrow and you can not do anything (The solution is
to kill the app and restarted.
Is this problem known?
Is there any workaround for this?
