I'm building a C# application which uses embedded C# scripts, and I
thought it would be nice to use the ScintillaNET component as a simple
script editor.
Trouble is, I'm having a bit of difficulty configuring it. So far, after
much playing around, I've managed to change the font to a monospaced
font, change the font size, the tab size and increase the margin size to
display line numbers, but I've little idea of how to do the other things
that I want:
1) Make the margin a different colour to the editing screen
2) Display a folding margin and manage folding
3) Implement some form of auto-indenting
4) Show indentation guides
5) Optionally, show whitespace characters
6) Be able to highlight lines
7) Know what all the different Style numbers are for.
and a few other things which I can't think of at the moment.
I can't find any good examples of how to do these things, and I haven't
had much joy from trawling through the code either.
Can anyone please help me out with some info? It would be greatly
appreciated.
