I'm planning to release version 1.68 in about a week so the freeze
process starts now. There'll have to be a good reason for any new
additions and only features that are already in-process will go in
after tomorrow.
There are two changes to the Platform API for this release,
expandable palettes and translucent (alpha) drawing, so platform
implementers should have a think about whether they can support these
features as defined.
