Hi all,

A brief announcement. SciTEHexEdit is a simple hex editor written as a Lua extension. There is a hex pane and an ASCII pane. You can browse, edit hex numbers or ASCII characters and save the changes. The hex view (width is customizable) is similar to ht editor's hex view:

00000600 4f 20 3d 20-74 72 75 65 |O = true|
00000608 0a 20 20 2d-2d 20 4f 50 | -- OP|
00000610 54 49 4f 4e-3a 20 6d 6f |TION: mo|
00000618 72 65 20 63-6f 6d 70 61 |re compa|
00000620 63 74 20 76-69 65 77 2c |ct view,|
00000628 20 61 20 66-65 77 20 6d | a few m|

The initial release can be found at:
http://luaforge.net/projects/sl-hexedit/

The SciTE scripts wiki page has also been updated:
http://lua-users.org/wiki/SciteScripts

i can't get it working...how do i include the file to my config...
i havn't a lua-startup script...
it should be using always a monospaced font independent of the users
font-settings (i don't know if this is possible)

Greets frank
