Neil,
continental keyboards have one or even two special keys to the left
(and right) of the spacebar that invoke the Start button of the task
bar since Win95. Another special key invokes the context menu.
English keyboards don't have these keys. Not being a mouse fan I
find them very convenient, but most likely it is prescribed by a
European norm as about everything overhere ...
