There has been work on related areas recently, partly in the "Paint
region" discussion. Try using the most recent update. If it still
occurs then it may be necessary to debug the areas being painted
through some test code I have. Mentioning the platform here helps as
the GTK+ and Windows paint region code are different.

Or maybe you are remembering that I work with the Scintilla widget on
GTK+ on Windows too? :)
