OK. I have now built with the changes you mentioned in a post about 7 minutes before you made this reply.

It certainly is no worse - and I haven't "caught" it yet... but then it was a somewhat slippery problem to begin with. :)

Latest builds of Scintilla/SciTE from CVS on Windows XP SP2.
