Hi again,

Found a diagnose to my recent report about scite crashing in libgdk-x11-2.0.so.0.

It appears that the gtk+ version 2.8.12 is the culprit: the error appeared when
I upgraded gtk+ version 2.8.8 to version 2.8.12. I have meanwhile downgraded
gtk+ back to 2.8.8, and the reported problems disappeared.

Investigated further: looks like at least one other gtk+ program (anjuta editor) on my machine fails to work with 2.8.12 as well. I have also noticed several
reports about problems with 2.8.12 for different gtk+ programs.

I have not tested whether newer versions of gtk+ fix the problem appearing
in 2.8.12 (or between 2.8.8 and 2.8.12) or not.

Regards,
     Tanel Tammet
