No, it's the "full install" on Windows, and I'm editing my
SciTEUser.properties file, not the global one. I'm not sure why it
doesn't work though.
Another thing that also works on Linux but not Windows is setting the
font to monospace by default when Scite opens. Windows always opens up
my files with a proportional font, something like Comic Sans perhaps.
Do any settings in user properties work? Try caret.fore=#FF0000 for
a red caret as that is rarely set.
